Reflecting on First Year

I have finished my first ever year of university and my efforts in becoming a journalist have become a little more real. And as I put in my first ever blog, it’s important to document it all.

To say that all the changes that have happened are good would be a lie; it’s a harsh lesson to learn that you can’t do everything or be everywhere all at once. But, what I have been able to do has been awesome, it’s only the things I have had to sacrifice that I regret.
Since September I have made lots of new friends, met a lot of new people, learnt how to write really quickly (shorthand…), pretended to be a real journalist lots, started a new job, been really skint, picked up the phrase ‘pure brilliant by the way’ and found out how awful and stressful it is to go flat hunting.
